Mini Apple Pies

This weekend I tried a super-simple version of the mini-pies that I've been meaning to try for literally years. It was a great success!

This was ridiculously easy! And cheap and fast and delicious. What could be better than that?

There were only four ingredients:

- Frozen pie crust
- Apple (diced)
- Cinnamon
- Sugar

From the pie crust cut out two circles per pie (I used a glass). Put a tablespoon or two of apple in the center of the circle. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar. Use a fork to press the edges of the second circle into the edges of the one with apple and cinnamon-y goodness. Sprinkle just a little sugar on top. Bake for somewhere between five and ten minutes, when they look done, they're done.

It's so easy and so yummy! You can put cinnamon and sugar on the extra pieces of dough and eat them as a sweet little treat!

Bon Appetit!
