cupcakes = love

i love cupcakes. i love everything about them. i love how they're the perfect size (mini is always better), i love how cute they are, i love that you can eat them on the go...i could go on for a while.

anyways, lucky for me i get a nice supply of cupcakes from georgetown cupcakes. and, even better, a new cupcake shop is opening up in a nearby shopping center! but occasionally, i like to make cupcakes, which is why i was so excited to find ming makes cupcakes. this adorable website has classic recipes as well as more creative options and cute pictures.

fresh!

today has been a fabulous day!

the weather was gorgeous, i finally found a pair of sunglasses that look good, and just a bunch of happy things happened!

lately, i have been feeling so fresh and inspired. i feel like everything is about to begin. for one thing it's spring time, and everything is beautiful and green. i am about to go to college and start over completely. i have the opportunity to make new friends, learn new things, have new experiences. i just feel incredibly lucky!

partly because of the fact that i am about to leave, i have been really appreciating and enjoying every moment of what is happening now. i will never be able to come back to this part of my life. and life is about to change in a big way. i am so happy every day to see my friends, to eat a homemade dinner, to go kayaking on the canal...these are the things that i will really miss next year.

it's the simple things in life that make me the most happy. i am grateful, and happy to have this summer to really savor the little things.
